Chapter 17: Her Monitor
Chapter Seventeen - Her monitor
It was the third day in the new prison. Laurel made her twentieth pushup before falling to the ground. She’d have brunch in few minutes time brought to her by her new monitor Delta Sigma.
The warriors had given her a prep talk or how to be respectful to him.
She also noticed they spoke about him using less honorifics so it was either they were close to him or he was younger than them, probably a teenager.
Another trumpet blew outside her window. Laurel turned to it, it was the sixth one that day. It reminded her of when her pack was attacked.
What was Stefan celebrating?

Immediately the door unlocked and someone rushed to her side. A young man stared down at her. "Hmm, I’ve never seen a princess before."
Laurel glared at the person before her. Was it this runt who’d be monitoring her? He was shorter than she was and she was 5’5.
Yet, the moment their eyes met again, she dragged her head down, suddenly engulfed in fear. He was truly a powerful Delta.
"Princesses are not as beautiful as Sorren said." he sighed, sending a kick to Laurel’s stomach. She screeched, falling on her back, and holding her stomach. "But they are definitely as fragile." The young man added.
