Chapter Sixteen - Memories
Laurel nodded at her words, and attempted going towards the bathroom but a sharp pain went through her head making her lose balance. "It’s here again."
They came again. She didn’t know when they did or what caused them but they just came. Her hands quickly went to her dress.
"My dress was raised?" Strangely, she felt the sensation of someone prying under her dress while she was asleep, even if she was asleep.
They came like memories but were just sensations. She could hear what happened around her while she was unconscious.
It didn’t happen all the time and if it was some kind of gift, she didn’t know how to control it.
As a child, she remembered hearing her father wishing she didn’t exist and attempting to strangle her if not a maid walked in on him.
She could never see what was happening just hearing voices and feeling the touch.
"Someone must have raised my dress while I was asleep." Laurel shrieked, rushing to the bed and wrapping herself with the dull looking mattress.
Who could have done that to her? It was one movement so she couldn’t ascertain if she was sexually harassed or not.
"So you want to get stronger?"
Laurel suddenly heard those words. They must have been from whoever raised her dress.
