Colin followed Ryden out of the study, passing through the long corridor and making several turns, until they arrived deep within the Merredith City Council hall.
Here was a hidden Transmission Array hall, where Ryden led him to board the array, and eventually they reached a secret chamber.
Inside the chamber, there were already two people sitting on sofas against the wall, engaged in conversation.
On the left was a robust figure, whose Wizard Robe from the Yista School was stretched taut by his muscular physique; obviously, this was Yeats, the one Ryden had mentioned as hailing from Yista School.
On the right, made to look exceedingly petite next to Yeats, was obviously Mill, the witch. At first glance, her features were plain, dressed in only a simple pale blue Wizard Robe, with no other adornment, not even a badge to be seen.
However, upon closer inspection, when one’s gaze met Mill’s pale eyes, they would find her to be exceptionally harmonious, like an orchid in a secluded valley, possessing a uniquely quiet charm. Even the simple pale blue Wizard Robe seemed to exude especial aesthetic appeal, making Yeats, who should have been more eye-catching, suddenly appear dull by comparison, relegated to a mere backdrop.
"Miss Mill, I’ve brought Colin over," Ryden said in a clear voice as he walked in with Colin.
Mill nodded slightly, her gaze falling on Colin, "Is this the wizard you mentioned, who possesses great strength in combat like you, harbors a deep hatred for the Divine, and is unwilling to live a life of mediocrity?"
Colin was momentarily stunned, great strength in combat... indeed that seemed about right, a deep hatred for the Divine... there were hints of that, after all, which wizard in this world didn’t hate the Divine?
