In the future, if they hired new servants, they would see how Sebasian was more strict with Walter.
That in itself might not be a bad thing. But perhaps they would not like to see Walter treated differently. It could be seen as a kind of favoritism.
On the other hand, if Walter decided to go against his father’s wishes, it could create a rift… Though, Sebastian would likely crush any opposition.
“Well, it’s not like they will never see each other if he goes to Range village. Perhaps occasional visits is the right amount of distance for them.”
