I Was Able to Use Beginner Magic

Like Sebastian said, if you are wielding a sword but only thinking of running, you will not be able to hit anything.
And so you had to go at it with the intention of pushing and overwhelming the enemy.
No one would be scared of someone who was hesitant and trying to retreat.
