Chapter 946: Entering the VIP Room
Tang San felt a bit helpless himself. Even he wasn't sure just how strong he'd become immediately upon ascending to Emperorhood, nor how much fortune he'd occupy in this plane. Would his presence significantly affect the fortune here, or would it have little impact since he was an outsider who had already promised the planar ruler that he would eventually leave? He had no way of knowing until he actually went through with the ascension.
Tang San's group continued forward, following behind the Peacock Demon clan through the corridor. After passing through a long passage and ascending a flight of stairs, the roaring noise from the crowd gradually became audible.
Mei Gongzi and the Peacock Demon clan emerged from the passageway first, followed closely by Tang San and the Blue Gold Tree clan elders.
The chaotic noise momentarily gave him a headache. The mixed bloodline power emanating from the massive crowd even made Tang San furrow his brow.
However, as he took in the scene—every corner of the Grand Auction Hall packed to the brim—he couldn't help feeling astonished. The scale of this auction truly was immense, and everyone present was a powerhouse. There wasn't anyone below the seventh order, and most attendees were eighth- or ninth-order. Among the larger-sized races, only those at the tenth order or higher were permitted to enter.
Fortunately, their section was relatively peaceful. The temporary VIP rooms, though simply constructed and not particularly luxurious, at least offered personal space.
Mei Gongzi had already entered her VIP room along with the other nine Peacock Demon clan members. Tang San had been able to catch glimpses of her long hair from behind the entire time, but he had been extra careful to keep his distance. They knew each other too well; despite Tang San's flawless disguise and vastly different bloodline aura, he still feared Mei Gongzi might recognize him. If that happened, his careful concealment thus far would be for nothing.
Most VIP guests attending the auction had already settled into their rooms. Only the VIP suites reserved for Emperors remained empty; naturally, the Emperors would arrive just before the auction officially started.
Tang San entered his own VIP room, accompanied by Jin Miaosen and several of the highest-ranking elders, while the rest sat just outside.
