"You've come to the Ancestral Court too? Little Mei said you haven't been back much these past months. She's a bit angry, you better go calm her down." Su Qin chuckled softly, then turned away and headed to her own quarters, leaving the two of them alone.
Tang San stepped up to Mei Gongzi and said with a quiet smile, "Still angry?"
"Hmph!" Mei Gongzi turned her head away, revealing her fair profile and long, slender neck.
Tang San slid his arm around her shoulders and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.
His movement was so fast that Mei Gongzi didn't even have time to react.
"You damn scoundrel! Who said you could kiss me?" Mei Gongzi pushed him away, or at least she faked trying to push him away; of course, she didn't succeed. Tang San took the opportunity to grab her hand and pull her into his arms.
