Chapter 12
After finishing breakfast, Asano Nao anxiously looked towards the doors and windows.
She decided that once Minami Yuuki left, she would close all the curtains and restore the gloomy atmosphere of her home.
However, Minami Yuuki showed no intention of leaving. He lay on the living room sofa, playing with his phone.
Asano Nao felt a mix of joy and pressure with Minami Yuuki’s presence.
She was used to being alone, avoiding being scrutinized by anyone. Even when she lived with her grandmother a few years ago, she spent most of her time alone in her room, only interacting during meals.
As time passed, the pressure increased, and she gathered the courage to ask, “Aren’t you going back?”
“My apartment is too small, and my sister’s place is more comfortable,” Minami Yuuki replied casually.
Glancing at Asano Nao, he wondered, Just because we’ve spent some time together, she feels pressured? How will she cope with the vast crowds outside?
She needs some toughening up.
