We followed the trembling servant deeper inside. After walking for about a hundred or so steps, we arrived at a mansion exuding an elegant atmosphere. It seemed overly spacious for a single occupant, but reasonably sized for a wealthy person. The servant entered the mansion and rang a small bell, announcing,
“Master, guests have arrived.”
After a brief pause, a woman’s voice came from within.
