Hearing that, Lorent laughed derisively. "You don’t have complain before this." He tilted his head. "You like it. Admit it that you like the sensation."
This was Lorent’s way to get revenge on Khaos. That lycan wanted to harm his mate and he was going to do the same. The drug wouldn’t harm Zuri right now, instead it would help her to escape the reality and the pain from the side effect of the beauty blood.
