Chapter 206: MARCHING FORWARD
Zuri was going to Little Red town with Rhett’s warrior. She didn’t want to be anywhere near Rhett, but this was the safest and the easiest way for her to travel. She couldn’t delay this any longer, she needed to meet with Khaos, or else, her world was going to fall apart.
"Your hand has not healed?" Caiden pointed out her hand that was still in bandage.
After her outburst two days ago, she accidentally harmed Shadow and herself. Right now, the wolf was fine, but he needed to recuperate a little bit longer. She wouldn’t stop blaming herself if something happened to Shadow.
"Yes, I think I lost my healing ability," Zuri said, staring at her bandaged right hand and then continued to pack her thing. They were going to leave at dawn, which meant, it was eight hours from now. "Have you packed your things?"
"That’s bad." Caiden furrowed his brows. "Yeah, I have packed my thing."
Zuri was grateful that Caiden would go with her, though Gayle had to stay in the pack house, to guard the place with Ezra. She was also glad that she could get away from Caiden’s father and mother.
Ezra and Mabel, of course, made a fuss because they didn’t want Caiden to leave with Zuri. They insisted that Zuri was not stable and she could do more harm than good if she went ahead to the front battlefield.
Yet, they didn’t want her to be in this pack either.
