Chapter 93: The Dream That Bled

There is no sky in the dream. Only the pulse. The pulse that screams. The pulse that weeps.

Kiro floated in the void between moments, between heartbeats, where time stilled and his body no longer mattered. The radiation poisoning, the void corruption — these were shadows now. External. He had descended deeper than flesh.

He had entered the Inner Crucible, the Archive's final trial.

And it had locked the door behind him.

Here, he faced the true enemy:

Himself — as unmade by the Void.

Before him stood a version of Kiro, crowned in obsidian horns, his body a lattice of bleeding galaxies, his eyes two event horizons.

"You touched the flame," the Void-Kiro said, voice layered in millions of screaming mouths."You begged for power. And I answered.""Now, surrender. You cannot ascend. You can only... unravel."

Kiro's breath echoed like thunder across the metaphysical plain.

"No."

He flexed his hand — it bled light.
