Compared to shinobi, Samurais follow a certain code of honour. Usually due to their ideologies, where loyalty is put above all else, they were not good at seeing through the deceiving of the other people. It was the main reason why local lords and nobles trusted them more than shinobi. Shinobi can easily backstab anyone after getting enough money. But once a Samurai pledged their loyalty to you, they would stick to you for the rest of their life.
By choosing to spare the Samurai guard in front of the door, Horoi was trying to achieve two things. First of all, he wanted the Samurai to become the spokesperson after he was done killing the Daimyo. In fact during the Chaos even if the disguised hidden cloud shinobi killed everyone else they must not kill that single Samurai. That way, they could show him as proof of the attack of the leaf and then launch an official war against the hidden leaf village and by extent, the land of Fire. After dealing with the samurai, Horoi slowly went towards the bed chamber of the Daimyo. Upon reaching in front of the massive bed Horoi saw his target. The man was sleeping naked with two of his wives. Both of them were also naked with the aftermath of their messy love making all over the bed.
Horoi took out a simple Kunai and headed towards them. There was no reason for them to suffer for long. So including his blade with a little bit of wind nature Chakra Horoi intended to behead them with a simple single slash. That way they wouldn’t have to suffer.
Going to one side of the bed, Horoi swung his blade.

*Clang*
Instead of wind nature Chakra cutting flesh and bone, the sound of metal hitting metal echoed throughout the entire room. Slowly the previously invisible barrier started to become visible.
