Chapter 19: Danzo’s schemes
Tsunade warned Orochimaru, making him smile.
"She is my daughter. That's all I will tell you. No more questions." Tsunade revealed the secret.
But unknown to both of them Usagi was hearing their conversation secretly through a seal she had hidden inside the tent after coming in.

Danzo's schemes
"I never thought that Tsunade would be able to overcome her haemophobia." Danzo Shimura, the so-called darkness of the shinobi muttered to himself in a low voice. His usual emotionless and cold face had a frown on it.
"It is clear that Hiruzen doesn't want me to promote Orochimaru. It seems I have been focusing on the wrong target." The cold and calculative mind of Danzo, processed every detail of the current situation of the hidden leaf army in the Iwa front. From what he had understood so far, Hiruzen's actions were indicating that his old friend wanted to decrease the reputation of his own disciple. Even though Iwa had an overwhelming advantage of both quality and quantity in the front line, Hiruzen has given Orochimaru an order to launch a brutal offensive against the hidden stone while giving him very poor support. And knowing Orochimaru, he would sacrifice a large amount of the cannon fodders to complete the mission. Which will only tarnish his reputation among the remaining shinobi.
"But now Hiruzen has sent Tsunade to the front line. Could it be that he is actually planning Tsunade to become the next hokage ? No.... I will have to wait for the mission to be over to decide the meaning behind Hiruzen's move. I have already made a secret move. Too much movement will expose my involvement." Danzo muttered to himself.
The old warhawk had already sent his gift to the old dwarf Onoki. Hatake Sakumo was a thorn in his path. So Danzo had prepared a mission which will be the final mission of Sakumo. His root had already fed false information to the spies of the hidden stone. Now, Sakumo and his team will be able to destroy the rear logistic base of Iwa without much problem. But after that, they will never be able to return to the village. No one except for him knew that along with Roshi, Han was also deployed at the border. Sakumo Hatake was very strong. With his Chakra blade and kenjutsu skills he could cut through any ninjutsu with ease. Combining it with his speed and swordsmanship, he was a nightmare to deal with on the battlefield. During the second great Shinobi war, he had cut through even the dust release jutsu of Onoki. If not for his flight ability, the old Tsuchikage might not have been alive to declare War on them. But in his entire career, Sakumo had never faced Jinjurikis. So Danzo was hoping that this time the white fang would fall. And even if he doesn't fall, his root agents will make sure that he doesn't come back alive.
But even if Sakumo is gone, Tsunade is now back. She is the direct disciple of the third hokage and the granddaughter of Senju Hashirama. Now that the Senju Clan is almost gone, Hiruzen might transfer her power to Tsunade.....
"I will have to wait and see... Being impatient will only hinder me from reaching my goals." Danzo muttered to himself.
