"Now that the third kazekage has gone missing, it is our moment to strike. Hiruzen, we should crush the hidden sand while they were still disoriented due to the disappearance of the third kazekage. If we manage to deal enough damage to the hidden sand then we will have to One less front to worry about in the upcoming war." Danzo said to Hiruzen.
The other two advisors sitting on the left side of Danzo, exchanged glances between each other. But ultimately they remained silent and waited for Hiruzen to take final decision.
"Your plan is foolish. But what will happen to our reputation ? If we attack now then the hidden sand will have another excuse to put the blame of the disappearance of the third kazekage on us. And if that happens, then the retaliation from the other villages will be even more fierce. Considering the harsh desert terrain, we will need to deploy at least half of our forces if we want to completely crush the hidden sand. And if we do that then we will be leaving our other fronts without much manpower.
What do you think ? What will happen then ? And don't forget if we don't crush the entire hidden sand then we will have to worry about suicidal attack from that front. Is it wise to spend so much resources and manpower on a barren, infertile land ? So it is impossible." Hiruzen made the final decision and blew a puff of smoke from his smoking pipe.
"What about the recent incident in our border outpost ? Are you going to just sit back when the hidden stone is already attacking us ?" Danzo aggressively asked Hiruzen.
