Saitama didn't bother hiding his thoughts anymore and answered directly.
"That's fine. Shisui is also planning to apply for graduation next semester. I'll apply alongside him."
"Good."
Saitama wasn't being humble. Joining the Uchiha Police Force needed only one excuse—having a mentor to guide his training—and that alone was enough for him.
He had long grown dissatisfied with his slow pace of progress. And now that he had awakened the Sharingan, he needed proper guidance.
Talent alone wasn't enough. Without direction, even the most gifted shinobi would stagnate.
"Then we'll leave it at that for today. I hope to see you among the Police Force soon," said Uchiha Bomori.
Both Bomori and Uchiha Lin stood and made their way to the gate. Their objective had been accomplished, and there was no reason to linger.
"Likewise. I look forward to working with you," Saitama replied, walking them to the door.
He watched the two figures vanish down the street.
This was the first good news he'd received all day: a direct opportunity to join the clan's inner circle.
