Chapter 17
"There will be a shuriken-throwing test shortly. Everyone, take this time to prepare."
Instructor Ryuta stepped aside, allowing the students to practice on their own.
Casually picking up a shuriken, Uchiha Saitama slipped his middle finger through the hole and spun it confidently.
"Hey, Uchiha!"
A boy with pale lavender eyes and the unmistakable white pupils of the Hyūga clan approached.
His expression was proud, and even though he was a little shorter than Saitama, he stared him down without hesitation.
"Got a problem?" Saitama asked coolly. He knew the Uchiha and Hyūga clans had long been rivals, but he hadn't expected to be targeted so directly.
Though his tone was calm, he was puzzled as to why this Hyūga was picking a fight.
"Do you dare to compete with me during the test?" the boy challenged, lifting his chin.
"Whatever. Just don't cry when you lose," Saitama replied, amused.
Sigh... Maybe I've been too low-key lately, he thought. Now even clowns think they can mess with a tiger.
