Seeing Ma Yeonju and Ha Eunyoung after such a long time, their appearances had clearly changed.

Ha Eunyoung appeared calm on the outside. Huddled in a filthy corner of the detention center, she slightly lifted her head and glared at me with eyes that were still very much alive.

But her eyelids were swollen, and her body had thinned, indicating her poor condition. It made sense since, unlike Ma Yeonju, she wasn't receiving special care after being drugged.

I thought there might be a risk to her health if she was neglected too much. It’s good timing, though. She might be able to get proper care somewhere nice in two weeks.

“That fierce glare comes from Ha Eunyoung, and the one on the opposite side is Ma Yeonju. They look normal on the outside, right? But they are messed up inside. Maybe a bit recovered now.”
