Chapter 106
After spending the entire weekend feeling like I was floating on air, I arrived at work on Monday right on time—only to be greeted with good news from the CEO.
“The producer agreed to keep your identity hidden. He said it sounds like fun.”
The idea of framing it as Another and the first-gen members being chosen by CAT instead of me had been approved.
It had only been one day since we talked about it, yet things were moving fast.
“Did you contact him today?”
“Might as well reach out quickly. The longer you hesitate, the more unprepared you seem.”
“Well, that’s true.”
“Anyway, he wants you to come up with a stage name. Something that makes you seem like a new utaite preparing for debut would be ideal. That’s your specialty, isn’t it?”
I had expected him to set a bunch of conditions in exchange for accepting my request, but instead, he only asked for a stage name.
Gotta respect that level of generosity.
“Technically, VTuber names are my specialty, but... well, a lot of VTubers used to be utaite in their past lives, so it’s not too different.”
“Right. They’ll need some time to prepare the track, so for at least a month, just focus on vocal training with the members and your usual work.”
