The Delicate Female Lead Only Wants to be Loved by the Villainous Young Ladies

Chapter 261: A Satisfying Revenge

Wen Xi wasn’t weak. She was the self-proclaimed “First Lady” of Kaiser’s group. Given Kaiser’s obliviousness and low EQ, it was hard to say what she truly felt for Wen Xi. Perhaps she simply saw her as an annoying younger sister. Until she defeated Dorothy, romance was a distraction, a frivolous pursuit compared to the thrill of combat. Wofoo had sparred with Kaiser before, though Kaiser always held back, her true power a terrifying force Wofoo couldn’t comprehend.

Wen Xi was a Sequence One elemental vampire, though not among the strongest. Her obsession with Kaiser had led her to neglect her training, content to rely on her beauty and Kaiser’s protection. But within the Secret Realm, such complacency was a liability. There were no servants to cater to her whims, no makeup to enhance her beauty, only the harsh reality of survival. She had encountered a swarm of ashen goblin creatures, their grotesque forms and lecherous gazes filling her with disgust. She wielded the dual elements of metal and wood, a testament to her noble bloodline and talent. But talent alone wasn’t enough. She had cleared the area, the goblins dissolving into ash, but the encounter had left her shaken, her breath coming in ragged gasps. As she caught sight of Adele and Wofoo, she composed herself, forcing a mask of cool indifference, her aristocratic pride demanding a flawless facade, even in the face of her enemies.

“A dog’s nose is truly keen,” she sneered, directing her insult at Wofoo.

But Adele was quicker to anger. “Not as keen as your foul mouth and even fouler actions, you bitch!”

Wen Xi bristled. No one in Twilight City dared to speak to her like ★ 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ★ this. But before she could retort, Adele attacked.

No time for words, only action. A swift punch, a lightning-fast claw strike.

Kitty Paw Strike: Bird Catching!

Or rather, since it was Wen Xi, the flamboyant, attention-seeking vampire...

Kitty Paw Strike: Roasted Chicken!

Even Wen Xi’s hastily erected elemental shield, a combination of wood and stone, couldn’t fully deflect the blow. Three claw marks appeared on her cheek, a stinging humiliation that made her blood boil. She hadn’t been truly hurt, but the insult, the indignity of being marked like an animal, was far worse. No one had ever dared to leave a mark on her face!
