Sharon, lost in the music and the rhythm of their dance, opened her eyes and saw Adele’s disgruntled expression.

She couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for the werewolf hybrid, and a surge of disgust for Kaiser and Wen Xi, now dancing together as if nothing had happened. She couldn’t understand what that woman (Wen Xi) was thinking.
