In the third image, this largest of the Demon Gods somehow bred many small humanoid beings within lifeless planets, scattering them across multiple worlds and thus gradually restoring vitality to the Universe.

However, the fourth image quickly emerged, showing the Universe enduring another great disaster. Many planets exploded. Despite the survival of the largest Ancient Demon God, many beings of the Universe were wiped out.

After receiving these messages, Chen Dengming had some enlightenment.

Many more images that flashed across his mind were of that same largest Ancient Demon God endlessly breeding new life, yet helplessly witnessing the demise of countless progeny during the recurring cosmic catastrophes.

With his acute perception of time, Chen Dengming gradually discerned a pattern.

It seemed the intervals between these Universe catastrophes were getting shorter.

Initially, a disaster might erupt once every ten billion years, but later it evolved to several billion years, and even just over a billion years for one to occur.
