The group wandered around the garden outside the hall, while Ye Nai found a spot where she could see the sky, took out her outdoor chair and paper and pen, and began sketching the blueprint of the Royal Palace on the spot.
There was no need for detailed drawings, just stacking large and small boxes to outline the framework of the Royal Palace. Occasionally, she would write down the uses she knew in some of the boxes, like this Council Hall.
The group saw her drawing speed and assumed she was familiar with the layout of the palace, but Ye Nai was merely copying from her spore map.
Ye Nai drew it three times in a row, and each of the secretaries of the three vice ministers took a copy.
As soon as she finished drawing, the sky brightened further. The vice ministers had set a one-hour visiting time and, holding their respective blueprints, walked out of the Council Hall area to wander around. Camp Commander Lin followed Vice Minister Fan.
Ye Nai remained seated, took out her game console, and played games while resting.
Once the others had walked away, she paused and used the spore map that appeared in her mind to observe the entire Royal Capital, observing its current condition.
Since the fall of Selsa Country, she hadn’t been to this place again, and indeed didn’t know what the Royal Capital was like now.
When the spore map unfolded to reveal the entire city map, Ye Nai was both surprised and somewhat expected to see a ruined city.
On the spore map, many locations that were once complete buildings had collapsed. It seemed that, in the entire city, only this Great Palace, protected in all aspects by spores, was intact.
As for the luxurious mansions of the nobles, which occupied large areas in the city, they had likely been looted clean by the commoners. Without the spores’ protection, the guards couldn’t stop the commoners from storming the mansions.
An hour later, the group returned on time and saw Ye Nai drinking tea, with hot water boiling on a tea cart nearby.
