She Became A Downfall Noble Lady

Madam Yin did not intend to wake Ye Xinyan up by coming to her courtyard so early. With the New Year approaching, Ye Xinyan had been so busy that she hadn’t even had the time to try on her holiday clothes and jewelry. Madam Yin’s early visit had one purpose: to coordinate Ye Xinyan’s wardrobe with Nanny Jin in advance so when Ye Xinyan awoke, she could try them on to see if they were a good fit or if anything else was needed.

For this trip, Madam Yin brought over a dozen sets of clothing she had prepared for Ye Xinyan, ranging from undergarments to skirts, jackets, capes, and cloaks—a few large bundles of them, both inner and outer layers.

Ye Xinyan’s outfits had been ready for some time, but she hadn’t had the chance to try them on. Madam Yin had been itching to see her daughter dressed in these beautiful garments. Now that Ah Yan finally had a break, Madam Yin couldn’t contain her eagerness and thus had come early in the morning.

Since the day Ye Xinyan left Clear Water Village for the capital, she hadn’t had a chance to sleep in. Despite the fact that her work was completed and she was resting, she still woke up at her usual time every day.

It was still dark, and Jiu Yue, the servant on duty in her room, got up. As maids and old woman servants began moving about the courtyard, she woke up groggily but lazily stayed in bed without getting up. By the time Madam Yin entered, Ye Xinyan was fully awake.
