Chapter 382 - 202: Master Mo’s Wife
Liang Liang looked at Qin Qin in shock. So the woman before him, Master Qin, was Master Mo’s fiancée? They had actually brought Master Mo’s fiancée to the police station for interrogation.
The resonant, orderly footsteps appeared at the doorway. Policeman A pulled Liang Liang over to the approaching Mo Yunchen and bowed his head, saying, "Master Mo, your fiancée is here."
Mo Yunchen walked straight past Policeman A and Liang Liang towards Qin Qin, "How come you are in the police station?"
His tone was gentle and affectionate, but when he looked back at the group behind him, he revealed a cold, intimidating gaze. Everyone involuntarily bowed their heads, sweating profusely. Father Lao and Mother Lao didn’t dare to raise their heads, having long forgotten their daughter’s death and were silently mourning the fact that they had offended Master Mo’s fiancée and had Director Wang carry out a severe interrogation. They were unsure if they had offended Master Mo’s fiancée earlier.
"Master Mo, Director Lao’s daughter, Miss Lao, has died. We were just asking Miss Qin to help us understand the situation, nothing more," Director Wang explained, wiping off his sweat as he stepped forward.
Mo Yunchen, with his phoenix eyes emotionless, turned his gaze towards Director Wang. A mere glance seemed sufficient to scare Director Wang into silence; he raised his head, only able to look towards Qin Qin with pleading eyes.
"Master Mo, Master Mo, we were just asking Miss Qin to help us understand the situation, really, nothing else," said Director Lao, his voice quivering.
"Oh, really?" Mo Yunchen’s light ’oh’ nearly made Director Wang and Director Lao collapse, the former’s presence being something they couldn’t withstand.
"What exactly happened? Speak!" Mo Yunchen demanded, looking at Director Wang who was in charge.
Qin Qin leaned against Mo Yunchen, looking at Director Wang, Director Lao, and the others, remaining silent.
Under Mo Yunchen’s daunting presence, Director Wang raised his head and explained shakily, "Someone saw Miss Qin and Lao Wan in a dispute, and then Miss Lao died. Master Mo, we just brought Miss Qin in to ask her a few questions, really no other intentions."
