Tianshi and Dark Dragon, along with the remaining assassins from the Shi Organization, caught up, their faces still showing traces of fear.
Tianshi raised his gun and walked towards the two individuals, looking fiercely at Mo Yunchen and Qin Qin, "Master Mo, today you have caused us to lose many companions, I’m afraid I can’t take you back alive."
Dark Dragon and the other assassins also stepped in front of the two, raising their guns, ready to kill them as soon as Tianshi gave the word.
"Goodbye, Master Mo. If you go to Hell, don’t blame us brothers. Kill them," Tianshi coldly said.
The other assassins prepared to pull the trigger, but Mo Yunchen and Qin Qin swiftly kicked at Dark Dragon and Tianshi facing them, causing their guns to fire towards the ceiling of the cave, loud gunshots echoing along with rustling sounds.
Soon after, a black beetle-like insect fell from above the cave, with a pair of cold eyes, dark and shiny, and a feeler in the middle of its head; it scurried away after landing but seemed to smell something and directly crawled towards Dark Dragon.
Dark Dragon, startled, raised his gun and harshly shot the insect on the ground; it burst open, spattering a greenish-black liquid.
Dark Dragon let out a triumphant smile; although he wasn’t scared of insects, he despised these little creatures the most and, since this one dared to crawl towards him, he had to deal with it properly.
On the other hand, Qin Qin’s ears were more sensitive than others. She heard the sound of many tiny creatures near her and looked up to see a swarm of insects like the one before scattering in all directions. She hadn’t noticed the insect that Dark Dragon had killed, but now the mass of what looked like thousands of insects above made her complexion change drastically—it was the Thousand Corpse Worms!
"Mo Yunchen, we need to get out of here now! It’s dangerous!" For the first time, Qin Qin urgently exclaimed as she pulled Mo Yunchen, ready to leave.
