"I’ll give you a ride home," Jiang Qingtian said as he stood in front of Qin Qin, his gaze fixed on her as she chatted with others and turned them down. He had been standing in a corner watching her, waiting for the others to leave before he approached.
"No need, I can get back by myself," Qin Qin promptly refused Jiang Qingtian.
"Qin Qin, are you mad at me?!"
Behind her, Jiang Qingtian’s deep voice came through, tinged with a touch of self-reproach.
Qin Qin turned around, looking at him with confusion, "Mad at you? What are you talking about?"

Jiang Qingtian moved closer to Qin Qin, his head slightly lowered as he looked at her, struggling to express the words in his heart.
