Xi Yue looked at Qin Qin with complexity, seeming almost unable to believe that such a young girl would know Loh Lei, and moreover, when he observed her making a call just now, the person on the other side of the line appeared to be quite respectful, prompting him to scrutinize Qin Qin more closely and ponder about her real identity.
As these thoughts ran through his head, the cellphone in Xi Yue’s pocket rang. He took it out and saw it was a call from his superior. He walked aside to answer it, "Hello, Director."
"Did you arrest a girl named Qin Qin?"
Xi Yue glanced at Qin Qin and nodded, "Yes, there is one. She was reported by citizens as a human trafficker, so we brought her in for interrogation."
After hanging up the phone, Xi Yue spoke to Qin Qin quietly, "Miss Qin, you may leave now. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding."
Qin Qin looked at Xi Yue and stood up, "Good then!"
The elder policeman glanced at Xi Yue, who gave him a look, and the elder policeman nodded, smiling gently at Qin Qin, "Miss Qin, I apologize for the inconvenience."
The elder policeman quickly opened the door, and Qin Qin walked out of the interrogation room.
