Mrs Hale, I Surrender

Liam Hugh was so frightened when he saw Brock Hale that his heartbeat almost stopped.

His head felt like it had been struck by a blunt object on the spot, his chest tight and his heart panicking, his blood pressure skyrocketing.

It was too cold here, his entire body seemed to be immersed in an icy river, shivering with fright and fear.

But things had already escalated to this point, and he was resigned to his fate.
