A girl standing next to her heard the laugh and turned to look at Xu Jinzhi, teasingly saying, "Professor Xie has come out."
Xu Jinzhi knew they didn’t realize what she was laughing at, and she didn’t bother explaining, simply nodding in agreement.
Perhaps because there were still a few college teams left to compete and they were worried about running out of time, the leaders’ speeches were very brief, and soon after, the game was declared to have started.
The first game was not among the school’s leaders, but rather between the Foreign Languages and Computer Science departments.
The men were vigorous and energetic, and with each pass and score, the audience erupted into cheers. Xu Jinzhi watched with great enthusiasm.
But Xu Jinzhi was also keeping an eye on Xie Yanchuan. She knew that once this game ended, it would be the leaders’ turn to play. After all, these leaders had precious time that couldn’t be wasted.
