The family of three chatted about what had happened during Xie Yanchuan’s absence.
Tuantuan was always quiet, but having not seen Xie Yanchuan for so long, he seemed quite excited now.

Once they got back home, dinner was already prepared, so the three of them went to the dining room to eat first.

Xie Yanchuan spent a good while playing with Tuantuan, and after noticing it was about time, he took Tuantuan to bathe. Once they were ready, he laid down with Tuantuan in bed to tell him a story.

The aunt was waiting at the door, and upon seeing Xie Yanchuan come out, she quickly greeted him before going into the room to watch over Tuantuan.
Xie Yanchuan didn’t know if Xu Jinzhi had finished her work, so he went to the study first. After knocking, he pushed open the door and saw Xu Jinzhi busy at work.
