Xu Jinzhi smiled at the man in front of her. "Sorry, I forgot I’m feeling a bit under the weather and can’t drink."
The man also smiled back and echoed, "If you’re feeling unwell, you shouldn’t drink."
Xu Jinzhi handed her champagne to a passing waiter and then picked up a glass of juice from the other side.
"Let’s substitute with juice," Xu Jinzhi extended her hand and clinked her glass against the other’s, smiling. "Cheers."
"It’s my honor to have a drink with Mr. Xu!" the man said, and very considerately, he drained his glass in one gulp.
