Xu Jinzhi responded weakly, then fell silent.
Fortunately, the hospital was close by, and within minutes, Xie Yanchuan had brought Xu Jinzhi to the nearest emergency room.
As it was already evening, regardless of the discomfort, they had to visit the emergency department. Even at night, it was crowded.
At that moment, Xu Jinzhi had no strength left and was quietly leaning in Xie Yanchuan’s arms.
Xie Yanchuan frowned, sweating profusely in the late November weather.
