Chapter 80
A cold silence fell in the room. No one spoke. The woman, gazing up at Dein with a desperate expression, and Dein, looking down at her with an unreadable face, while Grayson stood frozen, pale, watching them.
"...What did you say?"
Dein asked, breaking the silence. The woman took a deep breath before responding.
"I’m pregnant, with your child."
...What is this woman talking about?
Grayson furrowed his brow in disbelief. How could Dein have gotten this woman pregnant? The idea was absurd.
"She's insane, there's no need to deal with her."
Grayson immediately intervened, pushing the woman aside with a soft but firm grip on her shoulder, offering a smile.
"I think you’ve come to the wrong house."
"Let go of me, what are you doing?"
The woman jerked away from Grayson’s hand and yelled, her voice shrill. Just as Grayson was about to speak again, Dein suddenly blocked his path.
"Don’t touch the woman."
