“Where the hell did he go? That kid.”
“He doesn’t do anything, but he can’t even stay still.”
“It’s obvious. He’s probably going to some girl’s house in this neighborhood and having sex.”
No one could deny it. They had seen how messy Grayson was. Moreover, no matter how much his colleagues were trying to kill him, it wouldn’t matter to him.
“Let’s just go.”
Ezra, who had been silent until then, suddenly spoke. Everyone looked at him in surprise, and he spat out harshly with an unusually angry face.
“He’s not a kid. I’ll come myself. Who cares if he asks a girl for a ride, calls an Uber, or walks? It’s his fault for following her around and disappearing while we’re working. There’s no reason for us to suffer any more, let’s go!”
When Ezra, who rarely showed his anger so openly, spoke quickly, the rest of the guys were momentarily stunned, but soon they all agreed as if they had been waiting for it.
Why on earth would Ezra say something like that?

“I agree, let’s go! That kid can handle his own business!”
