Chapter 17
“Dane!”
“What, you were here?”
“Where have you been? Why are you so late?”
As soon as they saw Dane Striker, the gathered team members were surprised and rushed to ask him. However, instead of answering, Dane threw him to the floor. When they saw someone lying down with a heavy thud, they forgot their questions for a moment and became lost in thought.
A silence flowed as if time had stopped.
Grayson Miller was lying unconscious.
His heavy body, sagging, looked ★ 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ★ like a giant beast lying down, powerless. Thick arms, a body covered in solid muscles, and a physique much larger than that of a normal man. Everyone’s mind went blank when they saw this monster defenseless being.
“What what what what, what is this?”
“Miller, Grayson Miller? What’s going on? Why is this happening?”
“Dean, did you hit me? What happened!”
Dane still frowned and gave a short answer to his teammates who were screaming for other reasons.
“I don’t know, I just fainted suddenly. I think I have anemia or something.”
