Ezra asked Dane with a disgusted expression.
"Why, why is he doing that? Was he weak?"
It was due to pheromones, but as a beta, Ezra would find it hard to understand. He might be able to smell the pheromone scent and know intellectually what kind of impact it has on alphas and omegas, but he wouldn't be able to experience it physically.
“That bastard...”
Dane muttered a curse under his breath. In a situation like this, the only reason for that man releasing his ~Nоvеl𝕚ght~ pheromones could be to deliberately insult him.
“Pull him out, even if you have to drag him. It’s dangerous if we waste any more time.”
Following Dane’s words, Ezra and the other team members rushed forward. They hurriedly tried to grab the man, but the naked man only screamed and thrashed about, making it hard to get his cooperation.
“Wait! Hey! The house is collapsing!”
“We need to get out! Get a hold of yourself!”
“Grab his arm! Lift him up! No, not there!”
Despite three grown men trying to hold him, he didn’t budge. Instead, he hit and shoved the firefighters, making the situation even more difficult.
The reason the man was rampaging like that was simple: pheromones.
