Chapter 96 : Genya vs Shin!!
"Impossible, Genya. I absolutely cannot let you leave the village."
Uchiha Kinya looked at Genya, his mouth twitching as determination spread across his face.
He was very clear about one thing: under no circumstances would he let Genya leave the village.
The process of escorting goods outside was never peaceful. Every convoy had faced attacks from rogue ninjas, and he couldn't let Genya risk such dangers.
Genya was too young, and even a small mistake could put him in serious danger or even lead to his death.
He would not allow that to happen.
"Dad, don't be so worried. I'm really strong now! Let me join the convoy and go outside!" Genya quickly reassured his father when he saw how anxious he was. "If we run into rogue ninjas, I can help!"
"Strong, huh? You're getting overconfident. If I don't rein you in, you'll be running away from home next!" Uchiha Kinya sat back in his chair, glaring at Genya. "You think you're strong, do you? Can you beat Uncle Shin?"
"If you can defeat your Uncle Shin, I'll agree to let you leave the village!"
Uchiha Kinya knew his son was probably quite strong and had been hiding his true abilities, but defeating Uchiha Shin was still out of the question.
With this thought, he took a sip of tea, feeling rather satisfied.
