Chapter 39 : Opening a hospital??
"Not allowed in?"
The old man looked at the three children behind him with surprise, clearly struggling with his decision:
"Let me take them in first. These three little kids have food poisoning and need immediate treatment. After them, I won't bring anyone else to the hospital!
It wasn't that he didn't want to pay for the children; he had donated all his money to the orphanage. Having lived through the harsh times of Second Ninja War and Third Ninja War, he felt a deep sympathy for the orphans there.
You see, the parents of these orphans were mostly ninjas who died in the Third World War.
These orphans were so pitiful that he wanted to help a few of them.
"No, Doctor Toshi, you can't bring anyone in. If I let you in again, I might lose my job!" The security guard said, shaking his head, clearly uncomfortable.
He had orders that Dr. Toshi was not allowed to bring in patients.
If he broke the rules again, he could be fired.
"You..." Doctor Toshi seemed torn. He didn't want to bother the security guard further, but he had no extra money to cover the medical expenses.
"While these three still have a chance to survive, please take them to the other side!" the security guard insisted.
