"Doctor, how is the patient?"
Genya asked, replacing the anxious Senju Hikari, who was watching the doctors busy inserting tubes into Senju Hayashi.
While asking, Genya also used his Dual Pupil to observe Hayashi's injuries. His body was covered in wounds, with signs of fractures from head to toe. It seemed that during his time with the Police Force, Hayashi had endured severe and inhumane torture.
Fortunately, there was a faint green light emanating from the gaps in his broken bones, suggesting that his injuries would soon heal.
The doctor spoke up: "The injuries are severe. He has multiple fractures all over his body, resulting from a beating. It will take at least a few months to recover. Additionally, his head has also been struck hard, and he remains unconscious. If he doesn't wake up within three days, I'm afraid..."
The doctor didn't finish the sentence, but everyone understood the implication.
Senju Hikari lay on the bed, her body trembling continuously, clearly realizing that her brother might be in danger.
Genya looked at Hayashi's injured head. There was a bruise on his forehead, but the faint green light seemed to be enveloping and healing the bruise.
"It's going to be alright. Your brother should wake up soon," Genya whispered, offering comfort. He spoke truthfully, as the siblings' unique physical condition meant that their injuries were likely to heal.
"Is it really going to be okay?" Hikari cried.
Genya reassured her, nodding firmly, "Yes, it will be alright. He will be fine!"
