"What’s it to you?" Gu Xiaoxi plucked a grape and tossed it high into the air, before catching it neatly in her mouth. She bit into it, juice bursting out, sweet and refreshing.
Luo Yiyan, with lips curled and eyebrows lifted archly with a dash of defiance, said, "Indeed, it’s none of my business, except that you’ve called me several times, each time just to ask if I’m doing well. It really annoys me!"
Gu Xiaoxi turned her head to glance at him, then stood up and twisted her chair towards the railing.
She sat down, legs crossed on the stool as if she had no bones, lounging comfortably in the chair. Her long legs were encased in jeans, and a pair of small feet in leather boots stuck up in the air.
She nonchalantly continued to eat her grapes, her tone languid, "What are you trying to say?"
"Turn your phone on!" Luo Yiyan half-closed his beguiling eyes, looking at Gu Xiaoxi and frowning at her rather unladylike behavior. She was less like a noble lady and more like a street urchin, short of outright hooliganism.
Gu Xiaoxi’s red lips curled slightly, her fingers running through her hair as if she hadn’t heard a thing, and she continued to eat her grapes.
Every now and then, her feet in the little leather shoes would flicker in a provocative manner.
"Gu Xiaoxi, can you not hear me speaking?" Luo Yiyan’s complexion turned considerably darker.
"Are you ordering me around?" Gu Xiaoxi turned her head and flirted with a brow at the demonically handsome man not far away.
