Gu Xiaoxi bid farewell to the technician and then quickly left the central garden outside the lecture hall, heading towards the intersection where Yeh Bai was.
There was a military jeep parked at the entrance.
Yeh Bai was leaning out the window, his head sticking out and revealing a handsome countenance.
His skin was fair and his handsome appearance had a hint of roguishness. Dressed in a white suit, he looked extremely composed and dignified, elegant as though even the afternoon sun lost its color behind him.
Gu Xiaoxi blinked; had she not already known him and was aware that he sometimes acted weirdly, she would have believed, just like the first time they met, that he was a cool, low-key, and profound guy.
"What are you staring for? Have you been dazzled by my handsome look? Please don’t fall for me—I’ve got someone I like," Yeh Bai called out to Gu Xiaoxi with a smiling grin and a wave.
Gu Xiaoxi’s lips twitched. She stepped forward, opened the door beside him, settled into the seat, and said, "Let’s go, I won’t wait if you’re late. Did you bring the stuff?"
After all, you can’t pursue a girlfriend without bringing anything; trying to catch a free ride isn’t realistic.
"Check the back of the car."
Upon hearing that, Gu Xiaoxi turned to look behind and saw the back seat crammed full of roses, each one exquisitely beautiful and fragrant.
