Chapter 613 - 608_2
Just now, Qin Chuan was bounced back by the powerful Qi Flow inside Ye Tian’s body and has not yet recovered. He wanted to check on Ye Tian, but under the current circumstances, he was unable to move. Plus, there were a bunch of old men and old ladies kneeling on the ground; he couldn’t possibly step over their bodies. However, Qin Chuan had a premonition that this Ye Tian must harbor some unknown secret, and it was certainly related to the Buddha statue outside the window.
Outside, people were excited, but inside, Ye Tian was enduring unspeakable suffering. Just a moment ago, an even more domineering force had appeared out of nowhere and entered his body directly, seemingly coming from outside the plane. Ye Tian could only guess, as he lay in bed with severe pain throughout his body, lacking even the strength to turn his head. He couldn’t see that beam shot from the Buddha that had penetrated the cabin wall.
It felt as though all the strength in his body was being sucked away by those three pearls, leaving only faint traces of breath that lingered pitifully, wandering within his body. When Ye Tian realized he hadn’t died, he felt relieved in his heart, thankful that the pearls were not sucking his blood dry; otherwise, he would certainly have turned into a mummy by now. Even a handsome man couldn’t withstand being drained of blood like this!
As consciousness grew blurry, the last bit of strength in his body dissipated, and the wandering thread of energy inside him was ultimately absorbed by the three pearls. Ye Tian’s vision went dark, and he fell into a deep, unconscious sleep.
Due to the strange phenomenon outside, all the cabin crew were busy maintaining order among the passengers in the cabin. Those kneeling and praying to the Buddha, those taking photos with their phones, and some who were scared into crying, had turned the vast cabin into a boiling chaos, and the cabin crew were all in a flurry.
No one noticed that Ye Tian, lying in bed, was undergoing a painful, near-Nirvana-like torment in his sleep.
In the Dantian area, after a chaotic wandering, the three pearls finally merged into one, and this cluster of light then formed two pearls that were completely different from the earlier red and green ones: one black and one white, which no longer matched the previous ones. The Shariputra finally coalesced with the scorching Red Flame Pearl, and almost simultaneously, the green pearl transformed in color, eventually becoming black. A cold and a warm energy, now completely separated, roamed and circulated in the Dantian like the pattern of Yin-Yang fish, full of profound mysteries. From this emerged threads of white True Qi which continuously nourished Ye Tian’s whole body. The dried blood vessels and Essence Qi were recovering at an astonishing speed, and those internal organs, which had been burnt by the Red Flame Pearl, were also receiving immense vitality from this black and white rotation. Ye Tian, in his slumber, could not see these changes, but he could feel a warm heat in his abdomen.
Ye Tian had a dream, in which everywhere was the springtime with warm, blossoming flowers. The river water was warm in spring, the peach blossoms on the mountains were blooming, and the clouds in the sky were carefree, with birds freely darting through the woods and overlapping mountain ridges in the distance. All in all, it was a sight full of life and vigor.
Ye Tian did not know why he dreamed of these scenes, but the first thing he saw upon waking was a face that could instantly turn the whole spring back into a harsh winter.
"Hmph, you know to wake up? You might as well have stayed asleep forever, no need to carry out missions, and no need to be punished by your superiors. An extraordinary natural phenomenon is the best excuse to shirk responsibility, isn’t it? You don’t have to try too hard; they won’t give you a ’Five-Star Team Leader’ award for this anyway."
