Chapter 75: Awakening [1]
The sight Kaiser beheld in the enveloping darkness was nothing short of extraordinary. He could discern in an instant that it was something divine, something even he, the very one who had forged this world within the solitude of his dim room, knew nothing about.
The thread’s radiant presence appeared to pierce through the gloom of the astral plane. Not only the darkness, but even the distant glimmers of starlight seemed to evade it — though, paradoxically, they could not.
Fate, magic, history, life, death: all this and more was what Kai could perceive. It was breathtaking, yet simultaneously eerie and haunting.
The threads churned within the darkness, an infinite nexus of power, life, and death... Kai could not help but be awestruck by the spectacle before him.
"Beautiful," Kaiser uttered. No... to him, they were more than just beautiful. They were the most exquisite things he had ever seen, the most magnificent colors he had ever perceived.
And yet, they were also the most terrifying. He instinctively knew he could not approach them. Simply gazing upon them from a distance made his soul feel as though it was disintegrating.
After some time, he exhaled.
Weaving was far more profound than he had anticipated, something beyond his imagination. If this was the bloodline he bore, then the path ahead was long before he could rightfully be called the Weaver of Life.
Kaiser then smiled. ’At least I have gained something.’
Even though he couldn’t quite grasp why, he had come to understand the first step — the initial stage of weaving.
The layers of the soul; this was the reason his soul endured even after death. And only when he comprehended his soul and the celestial code bound to it would he be able to return to life.
