"That kid really ordered me around, should I call it bravery?" Razor grinned as he stared through his balcony window down at the chaotic academy. "Well, I better get started."
Before Kai had entered the dungeon with the rest of the coven, he had told Razor only two things.
Firstly: the school was about to be assaulted. It was a rather unclear message, but Razor knew that was all Kai could reveal at the time, and since he had common sense, he was able to piece things together and confirm it had something to do with the abduction.
And the final thing Kai had told him was to open a certain box only when he deemed it necessary, and that moment was now.
Lifting the small aged box and opening its lid, Razor raised his brow.
He had anticipated a secret note or something along those lines inside the small box, but what was inside instead, was a—
’A rune stone,’ he mused.
Inside the box was a small formless stone with a single symbol on the top side that resembled that of a dragon.
Razor examined the rune stone for a moment and instantly grasped what it was meant to be used for.
Runes were an ancient language that could serve as a substitute for talents and orders just like zones and sorcery, but that didn’t mean many people knew about it, since only a select few could even interpret the language, not to mention possess an affinity for it.
