After ruthlessly cutting down two more enemies, Shin finally took refuge in what used to be a clothing store at the mall. Dust and debris littered the place, racks toppled and shelves broken. He leaned back against a wall, catching his breath. Lilian sat close to him, quiet and obedient, while the new dwarf girl sat farther away, scowling, and still angry at how they’d used her back then which costed her an arm.
Shin opened his System Interface to check his progress, and a semi-transparent display flickered to life before his eyes. It was cleanly divided into three distinct panels:
