Chapter 18 - Betrayal
David does not stop there and, at the same time, uses the fire bullet technique to attack the remaining Monsters. All of this happened so quickly that those monsters did not get the chance to react or do anything.
Suddenly, a huge fire appeared in front of them and, at the same time, many of their companions died because of that fire. In the next second, the fire did not even fade away when instantly fired bullets began to go toward those Monsters.
One by one, those bullets pierced through the bodies of those monsters. In the next second, those monsters begin to burn and begin to struggle to stop the fire. Unfortunately, it is already too late for them to do anything. In just 1 minute, all those monsters turn into ashes.
Only then did David deactivate all of his techniques and then turn around. The girl behind him is currently looking at his face with a shocking expression. It looks like she did not expect that she would get safe from someone. David is just about to say something when the girl begins to fall.
David instantly got that girl and then checked her condition. Fortunately, she just lost consciousness due to blood loss and exhaustion. He helps her to lie down on the ground and also quickly brings out the health potions to help those Warriors in front of him.
Even though those potions are precious things, at the same time, he cannot let them die in front of him, while he has a way to save them. One by one, he began to help everyone to drink the health potions. Fortunately, only 5 of those potions are used.
David could already see all the injuries present in their body getting healed pretty quickly. Even though the recovery rate is not high, it would still be enough to stabilize the condition of those warriors.
But the problem is that he cannot leave them alone like this. They can get killed anytime by any monsters. David just sighed and decided to wait for them to regain their consciousness.
