"Oh, wonderful. I doubt this is a conjugal visit," her head cocked to the side without batting an eye.
"So this is where Frost took you," Jotou’s brows knitted and she wiped the shock off her face.
"Not here exactly, no," she sighed in reply.
"Right, we were brought here to see her," Hotaru said aloud.
The officers seemed to nod at one another, "You want to interrogate her, yes?"
"Well duh," Fumeko crossed her arms.
"I’m sure we can leave them to it while we go talk to the commissioner? I have some catching up to do personally," Kazuo told the other officers.
"That works just fine detective," the officer looked to the three of them, "You can use whatever methods necessary, you have the papers and permission, but nothing beyond this glass—all verbal, no physical."
"We weren’t intending for that anyway," the blonde looked to the lizard-woman in the cell.
With one final nod, the officers left the premises, back the way they came. Fumeko looked to her dad’s back as he walked away without another word.
"Interrogate and threaten me all you want," she patted her hand over her open lips to yawn. "There’s little you’ll get."
Jotou’s brows knitted to the part-human in the cell, then glanced to Fumeko and Hotaru... In similar states of confusion, they were.
