Chapter 162: Arc 4, Act I, - 7: Immunity
Arabella walked back with a bow in hand and an arrow nocked as she aimed it to the ground. The four watched with various expressions of confusion and or concern.
Daiyu strode over to the side and put her arms out wide. Feyan closed his eyes with the palm of his hand. Whether it was so he could not watch or that he was tired of the princess’s antics was anyone’s guess.
"Uh, Jotou should I... push her away or, catch the arrow or something?" Fumeko hushed up to the blonde’s ear.
"I, trust her?" that was certainly a difficult sentence to say aloud as Jotou put her left arm out in front of Fumeko. Jotou knitted her brows as her legs tensed up...
Arabella aimed the bow and pulled back the string. ’Maybe this isn’t the brightest idea...’ "Aru, be prepared to heal anything..." Jotou whispered. ’I hope that covers it...’
"Got it..." Hotaru scrunched her face as her ears folded over her head.
"FWoosh!" The arrow fired straight for Daiyu’s waist. Jotou’s entire body tensed up more as she held her breath.
Daiyu stood with a grin as the arrow hit her waist and- "Trr...Duff!" Little chunks of rock formed right as the arrow hit and blocked it.
Daiyu flinched slightly as she felt the force of it, but she stood steady nonetheless and turned to her audience with a grin. "Ta-da!" a tiny hole in the clothing, but no damage to her skin underneath by the arrow as the rocks turned to dust and disappeared.
Fumeko stopped the shadows forming at her feet and drips of water fell from Hotaru’s hand as they both eased up. Jotou sighed all her breath out as she slumped into a, "Huh?"
"Yay!!!" Asobi clapped, "How did you do it? You have to teach me! Is it a secret?" she hushed the last sentence.
"You can just do your illusions," Fumeko glared to the elf.
