She pushed open the door to her living quarters, stepping inside as exhaustion settled deep into her bones.
She wasn’t surprised to see Zara already waiting for her.
Zara greeted her with an easy smile, her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned against the table.
"Took you long enough."
Selene sighed and dropped into a seat.
"I had to make sure everything was settled before I left."
Zara’s smile widened.
"No need to worry about that. I already took care of those pests."
Selene glanced at her, raising an eyebrow.
"That fast?"
